Dr. Christopher Otka and his wife Deborah acquired Noank-Mystic Veterinary Hospital on Jan. 3, 2012. Their vision is to provide the highest quality veterinary care to all of your companions and to exceed the expectations of current and future clients. Since 2012, the Otkas' have continued to update and modernize the hospital and equipment. Dr. Otka and his team work every day to achieve the goals set forth in their hospital slogan: Raising the bar on the standard of care. They have maintained their accreditation since 2013 by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), which is dedicated to the highest standard of excellence in veterinary medicine.
We incorporate modern, state-of-the-art equipment, exam rooms, pharmacy, laboratory, and other medical assets into a facility that promotes a calm, home-like atmosphere for our clients and their pets. Our surgical suites are equipped with up-to-date anesthesia and monitoring technology.
Our desire is to always be proactive while caring for any patient, and that includes client education and encouraging responsible pet ownership. We recognize that providing the highest quality veterinary care includes keeping you, our clients, at the center of all we do. After all, we are pet owners ourselves and understand how important it is to be received and treated by a staff that is knowledgeable, welcoming, and courteous. It is our goal not just to ensure the health and well-being of your pet, but to be your healthcare team in strengthening the bond you share with your companion. We will thoroughly discuss any diagnosis, as well as the various options of treatment, with you before we move forward with your pet's healthcare plan. We provide veterinary care for a variety of companion and exotic animals. Our doors and treatment areas are no stranger to snakes, ferrets, macaws, rabbits, and of course, the cats and dogs we love. We make house calls to surrounding areas and to clients on Fisher's Island (during the summer only). Call to inquire about availability.

We are the only clinic in the surrounding area open 7 days a week:
Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 8am to 6pm
Wednesday: 8am to 7pm (closed every other week)*
Thursday: 8am to 6pm
Friday: 8am to 6pm (closed every other week)*
Saturday: 8am-2pm
Sunday: 8:30am- 12:30pm
We are closed for lunch between 1pm-2pm and some weekend openings will vary due to staff availability
*If we are open on a Wednesday, we will be closed that Friday, and if closed on Wednesday we will be open on that Friday.
